One of the major factors in determining which substance abuse treatment center you choose is the success rate of the program itself. As you have done your research you have probably come across quite a few drug treatment centers who claim a success rate of between 70% and 90%. This, no doubt, sounds impressive but it is important that you understand what those numbers really mean.
The success rate calculated by most drug treatment centers is not the number of people who remain sober after completing the drug treatment program. It is simply the number of patients who complete the drug and alcohol rehab program in its entirety. Sadly, the real number of people who complete drug rehab and remain drug and alcohol free for more than a year is much lower. Only 5%-15% of addicts and alcoholics who complete treatment will remain sober. The rest will relapse at least once within the first year.

In addition to helping you work through the physical and mental withdrawals, Transformations Treatment Center also has well developed discharge, Aftercare and Relapse Prevention Programs for each of its clients. The substance abuse counselors at Transformations Treatment Center stay in touch with program graduates to help them stay connected after they leave treatment. We find that those clients who have a better foundation and familiar people to turn to in times of crisis will successfully work through a crisis.
We are so focused on helping a recovering drug addict/alcoholic remain in recovery that we offer any client who has graduated from our ninety day program an additional twenty eight days of drug and alcohol treatment should they relapse within the first year. There is no cost to the client should they come back for drug and alcohol treatment except for detoxification and transportation if they need it.
Another part of our Guaranteed Success program is the Relapse prevention program offered to all Transformations Treatment Center graduates. The Relapse Prevention program consists of regular group therapy sessions offered at zero cost to the client. Any graduate of the Transformations Treatment Center is welcome to attend as many as three group sessions a week for free during his or her first year of sobriety.(Client must follow treatment center aftercare treatment plan to be eligible for program)
