Transformations Treatment Center One Year Aftercare Program

After someone has successfully completed the battle of addiction and gone through a treatment program at Transformations Treatment Center, the next step for the person is to practice the skills acquired in rehab and manage to live a sober lifestyle.  Because a newly recovered addict will be dealing with a unique set of challenges and could be intimidated at the thought of living in the outside world, we believe our one year aftercare program is a vital tool to help the individual make the transition successfully. We firmly believe in going beyond the standard of care in conventional programs and strive to give our clients a firm and total understanding of what it takes to live a clean and sober lifestyle.

Who Participates in Our One Year Aftercare Program?

We utilize some of the most innovative treatment methods available in the world of drug and alcohol rehabilitation.  Using a three-phased approach to healing addiction, we offer a wide array of options that are personalized to suit the unique needs of each person we serve.  Transformations Treatment Center offers individuals two treatment tracks to choose from: a traditional program or a faith-based program that incorporates Christianity into treating addiction.  Each of our treatment programs include groups which provide substance abuse education, life skills training, and relapse prevention. For a person who has successfully completed one of our programs, we include a one year aftercare program in order to reduce the risk of relapse and to strengthen and reaffirm the individuals resolve to maintain sobriety.

What is Offered in the Aftercare Program?

Supportive Environment

Transformations’ treatment approach makes the recovery experience as comfortable and relaxed as possible.  We believe in taking the clinical, sterile aspect out of drug and alcohol rehabilitation and making it more personal for the individual.  By offering recovering individuals our clean, comfortable, all-inclusive amenities, we are able to build a mutually rewarding, respectful and trusting bond with each person we help.  Our staff and client relationship is just another way in which our treatment center is unique and why we are so successful at what we do.

Therapy and Counseling

We help our clients build self-esteem and confidence, which are two important elements missing in the life of an addict.  In our Aftercare Program, individuals in recovery have access to weekly individual counseling and group therapy, in which we provide education about addiction, help a person learn how to share feelings and emotions, teach positive coping skills, foster communication, provide nutritional counseling, and many other things which are vital in preparing individuals to reenter society.  Since its inception, our treatment program adopted the philosophy that the ability to heal and recover from addiction lies within the heart of each person we help. We are here to provide the fundamental skills and tools needed to allow recovery to happen. Our staff of counselors keep in touch with each client to reaffirm the bonds of caring and trust between our recovery graduates; and in turn, we invite individuals to come back at no cost if the need of treatment should arise again.

Sober Living Communities

In addition to therapy and counseling, when a person is ready to leave, we have an approved list of sober living referrals. Each location is personally inspected to make sure it is the best environment possible for continued recovery. Through teaching life skills, relapse prevention education and offering an exclusive one year aftercare program, our treatment center stands out among others and enjoys extremely high success rates.  We firmly believe that true healing extends way beyond just a person staying in our facility for rehabilitation only, which is why we stand by our clients and continue to help long after rehabilitation has been completed. 

Guaranteed Success

We, at Transformations, believe so strongly in our programs that we offer our clients what few other treatment programs do and that is a “Guaranteed Success” program, which is what makes us a leader in the field of recovery.  Our one year aftercare program offers any client that has completed one of our long term programs to come back and receive weekly group and individual counseling; and in the event of relapse, we offer another 28-day treatment provision as part of the Guaranteed Success program.

Unlike other drug and alcohol treatment centers, Transformations Treatment Center not only handles the physical portion of addiction, but also provides adequate resources and services to ensure that our clients are able to prepare for life in the outside world.  We treat the physical aspects of an addiction, but we also delve deeper into the problem and effectively handle the psychological facets.  We understand what it is like for a newly recovered addict to face the world and encounter new and daunting challenges. This is why our programs take the care and recovery of each person very seriously and we are so committed to providing a comprehensive aftercare program.

The staff and rehabilitation specialists at Transformations know that the first year of sobriety can be one of the most difficult and challenging in the life of a recovering addict.  We know that as you leave rehab, you are likely going to feel hesitant and ambivalent because of having to face the unknown. Individuals who have successfully completed a treatment program at Transformations Treatment Center and have chosen to live at a local sober living home must follow the plan of care set by their primary therapist in order to be eligible for the Aftercare Program.
