Codeine is a drug that derivedmainly from morphine, and those who abuse the drug can suffer from both physical addiction to Codeine, as well as psychological addiction to the drug. Some begin using the drug because it isn’t quite as addictive as morphine is known to be – though, all in all, it can offer the same effects that opiate users achieve when they take drugs.

Withdrawal symptoms are inevitable. They can include nausea, chills, irritability and stomach cramps. All in all, it’s not a pleasant experience, but if you’re dedicated to your cause then this is a small price to pay to once again have your freedom and the ability to lead a normal life.
Treatment may also involve slowly weaning a patient off the drug, slowly lowering doses so that the body is constantly exposed to less amounts of the drug. Both methods involve withdrawal symptoms, and a lot of effort. Combating Codeine addiction, however, is far from impossible.

I was looking for a drug and alcohol treatment center for my sister. I am so glad I found you and that today she is in recovery. Transformations gave her the right type of substance abuse program that was needed.

I was addicted to Codeine and was able to go to addiction rehab. It saved my life. Get someone help if they need it/.

Codeine addiction can really be a problem when left unattended. Seeking drug treatment and recognizing signs early have a hugh impact.

I found that drug and alcohol treatment at Transformations was incredible. Addiction is such a serious issue
that I am glad that I finally go the right substance abuse treatment.
