Such insight can be extremely useful as a person can soon begin to realize that there have been other people in the past who have gone through the exact same difficulties as they have done, and that they are not alone in their suffering. Soon enough, they could find that they get some favorite readings which they can turn to time and time again when things get tough.
Lastly, there can be a chance for an addict to become a part of a religious organization such as a church – meaning that they can become part of an extended Christian family who will love them and ensure that they have the strength to remain sober when things get tough. For a substance abuser as well as an addict, one of the main challenges can be preserving focus and trying to remain completely dedicated to their sobriety – even when they are confronted with negative emotions which were once resolved with drugs. It certainly is not easy to remain clean for extended periods of time, but it could be said that Christian substance abuse clinics give people a better chance of a happier ending.

Call Transformations if you or a family member need help. The Christian program there is really great. They are not like other Christian rehabs.

My therapist at Transformations is a pastor as well. He loves God and helped me get my self re-focused with my faith. By the grace of God I am still sober.
